Internet-based art (net art) is still not very well-known. This art genre is now more than 15 years old, and builds upon a very long and strong art historical tradition. Nevertheless, very few of these works are part of museum collections and they’re rarely exhibited as part of major exhibitions. So here’s a small selection of classics that I think every art lover should know about. An introduction, so to speak. Each pin links to a website with short explanation about the work.
