REALITY IS UP FOR GRABS

Recently, I got the chance to take a look at one of the famous Taschen series,  New Media Art by Mark Tribe and Reene Lana. Despite the fact that most of the works in the collection are quiet old, heading towards the beginning of 2000s, you still can find them online; perhaps not as active as they might had been once, but still a trace, a path to lead you to the essence of the work is out there. Of course, in between all the other projects that count as New Media artNet Art is the most public-in the sense of World Wide Web– and the permanent one; except the possibility of bringing itself to a conclusion somehow like the famous Felix Gonzalez-Torres’ piles of give-away candies. I bet, we would then find an empty webpage with an “about” link on top of it, explaining the insight of the work.

Here is a few of the links i liked most:

P.S. doesn’t this page look like Pipilotti Rist’s?
when you happen to refresh it?
