1996, website Based on a 1937 book by Georges Bernanos and the 1967 Robert Bresson movie,Mouchette is an interactive website created in 1996 by a presumably Amsterdam-based, still unknown, artist who calls herself “Mouchette”.What initially appears as a personal website of a pre-pubescent female artist, with an innocent introduction in the homepage, evolves into darker themes such as sex, death and suicide.
