Mouchette rescued

I love this photo so much, I discovered it yesterday for the first time online, I never knew this picture existed, it’s absolutely magic. Mouchette (Nadine Nortier) looks so beautiful and happy, triumphant even, carried in Robert Bresson’s arms, light as a feather. She is the center of the world, totally at ease with the situation. I can’t get enough of this picture, I should carry it with me day and night, as if it was a holy picture…
