When Mouchette didn’t have a domain name yet, her homepage didn’t have flowers as backgrounds, gifs had transparent backgrounds and weren’t necessarily animated.

My webhost was xs4all.nl and my space was
~mouche/

1-connected with a tilde ~
2-could have 8 letters maximum so I couldn’t be called ‘Mouchette’ (9 letters) , so I called it ‘mouche’ (6 letters)

Mouchette pink was “#FF6EC7”

This is a good reconstitution by Rhizome of the 1999 website. It doesn’t have everything, but quite  a lot of it though…
